Así Así is a Mexican/American band from Chicago, IL. The band consists of Fernando de Buen (vocals, guitars), Ben Geissel (drums), Celeen Rusk (vocals, keys), and Sam Coplin (bass).

Así Así started in 2018 as a continuation of a previous project, called “El Mañana”. They have played in multiple venues across Chicago, and are part of the city’s indie and Latin rock scenes. Así Así blends rock, dance, and Latin themes together to form oftentimes haunting, yet upbeat and catchy songs. This sound is achieved through their use of acoustic and electronic drums, and synthesizers ranging from soft and bouncy tones to intense, driving, pulsing patterns. De Buen’s guitars form exciting layers on top, while the bass lines provide hidden grooves and gems underneath.
